Strategies:
You need a Druid pouch to make them visible before you can kill them. The pouch usually does this automatically, but if it doesn't, use the pouch on the Ghast.

Killing a Ghast will give 30 Prayer experience if you have completed The Nature Spirit.

It is more convenient to use an Ouroboros pouch obtained from the Temple Trekking activity, which has similar functions of a Druid pouch but with infinite charges.
