You summon Strongbones by calling his name at the grave. He summons skeletons to assist in killing you. Ignore them and concentrate on killing strongbones. After you defeat him you can question him during the Land of the Goblins quest. Strongbones's bone is dropped when you kill Strongbones during the Hopespear's Will's miniquest.
