Players can speak with him to start the Let Them Eat Pie quest. The quest revolves around the storyline of a greedy merchant, Rolo the Stout, who has been purchasing all the food in the area and selling it for extortionate prices that the refugees cannot afford. In the quest, he asks adventurers to steal Rolo's seal so that he can forge a letter authorising all the food in the storehouses to be released for free.
