These can be found within various Divination springs throughout Runescape.
Item Uses:
Used to teleport to Memorial to Guthix Distraction and Diversion; Used to charge the engrams for the Memorial to Guthix Distraction and Diversion; Exchanged in batches of 1,000 strands for experience equal to a medium xp lamp from Orla after prestiging once at the memorial; Resets the timer on prestige perks by using the "Unlock-selection" option at the fountain of energy (costs 1,000 strands).
Notes:
Up to 10,000 memory strands can be stored within the currency pouch. Players need various amounts of energy to charge Engrams alongside memory strands. The strands also have a right click teleport option that takes you to the Memorial to Guthix. This functions still exists while the strands are in your currency pouch.
