Spiritual mages (Bandos) are ghostly followers of Bandos which are only found in Bandos's Stronghold through the Big door in the northwest section of the God Wars Dungeon. 70 Strength is required to open the door.
As long as you're using Ranged and have a Bandos item or Shard of Zaros equipped to prevent aggression, these mages shouldn't pose too much of a threat to most players and can be easily killed.
The chance of receiving better drops is increased by the Ring of fortune, Enhanced luck potion, Collector's insignia (charged), or Luck of the dwarves.
