After 6 auto-attacks, a Feral dinosaur will use its Special attack - 5 rapid damage hits, beginning at about 1k damage for the first round. Failing to kill the dinosaur before the next special attack round (after 6 more auto-attacks) will increase the amount of damage done per hit of the special. This will farther increase for each round of its special attack until killed.
Use of binding abilities will help make these monsters easier to kill. It is also recommended to ensure you do not aggro more than 1 at a time. Attacking the ones at the far East or West of the group is advised, since it is possible to safe spot these areas. See below for locations, click image for in-game view.
