Soran is the God Emissary of Zaros. If you choose to side with him, he will set you a series of tasks which award skill experience and lore regarding Zaros.

Archaeology:

Soran collects Zarosian artefacts (found in the Kharid-et Dig Site) and will accept any restored artefacts which you have not yet contributed to a collection. See our Archaeology Collections special report for more information on how this works.
