Strategies:
55 Slayer and either Broad ammo e.g. Broad-tipped bolts, Leaf-bladed weapons e.g. Leaf-bladed sword, or a Slayer's staff with the Slayer dart spell are required to kill Turoths.

As their weakness is Stab, using a Leaf-bladed sword Off-hand lead-bladed sword is the recommended and most effective way to kill Turoths. However, if you prefer to use Magic or Ranged, then Broad ammo and Slayer dart still work well.

There appear to be several different types of Turoth with this level being an example of an adult male.

The chance of receiving better drops is increased by the Ring of wealth, Luck potion, Collector's insignia, Leprechaun hat or Luck of the dwarves.
