60 Slayer and a Nosepeg or Slayer helmet are required to kill Aberrant spectres.

Aberrant spectres attack with a rapid and accurate Magic attack which will rapidly drain your Combat stats and result in a quick death if you're not wearing a Nosepeg or Slayer helmet.

Wearing a Salve amulet or Salve amulet (e) will increase your damage and accuracy while fighting spectres, however, note that its effects do not stack with those of the Slayer helmet if on a Slayer assignment.

The chance of receiving better drops is increased by the Ring of wealth, Luck potion, Collector's insignia, Leprechaun hat or Luck of the dwarves.
